The board of Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse has voted to make Northbridge Youth Lacrosse the official home of Uxbridge and Douglas kids within Mass Youth Lacrosse. For over a decade we have welcomed players from both towns into our program and have been the home for the majority of these players over the years. This adjustment is a great step forward for our program and all three towns. With this 'official' title, we are able to do a few things we weren't in the past. 

As the home program, with these towns under our umbrella, we can use our insurance to explore field use in these towns for practices, events and even possibly games in the future!

We can reach out to the schools to help recruit as a 'town program' just like every other town sport.

All of the players will be in one central spot, if your neighbor plays lacrosse, they play here, and so will you, no more program shopping and no more 'free agents'.

We do our best to keep costs low, normally planning on a 'zero gain' budget each season, which makes advertising in these towns extremely difficult and not cost-effective. Think about it, if we advertise lacrosse, players could have gone anywhere, that wasn't a good use of our limited funds. 

Being the home town program for everyone now, we can open up our sponsorship base to a larger group of businesses.
